Watching African sellers manage their business on WhatsApp — photos sent in bulk, orders scribbled in notebooks, debts honored from memory — Nkaka Jefkin understood the problem wasn't the sellers, but the absence of tools designed for their reality. In 2024, he created SokoDesk: a platform that lets any seller create an online storefront, track orders, and manage payments from a simple phone.
